PUBLIC FUND “KOMEK”
“Komek” is a community of students engaged in organizing volunteer work to help socially vulnerable groups of the population. The organization was created on November 10, 2010.
Public Foundation “Komek” is based on the organization of volunteer assistance to orphans, children without parental care, children from correctional schools, patients with cancer and autism, as well as elderly people in need of volunteer help. This also includes working with children within the framework of non-formal education aimed at cultural communication, peacemaking, conflict resolution, and environmental protection. Also working with children who often do not even leave the orphanage, who lack attention, affection, communication and home comfort. They live in closed areas and are poorly oriented in life, deprived of communication with the outside world, and therefore it is necessary to constantly work with them. Our fund covers a large number of orphanages with a permanent team of students.
Goals:
1. development among students of KazNU of al-Farabi sense of social responsibility, mutual assistance and support.
2. lay the foundation of patriotism, leadership qualities, environmental, aesthetic, ethical and labor education among students.
3. providing moral and physical assistance.
4. increased desire in children to fight the disease.
5. providing pedagogical (tutoring) assistance to orphans and children with disabilities.
