«SUPREME STUDENT COUNCIL»
The main goal of this organization is not only to contribute to the prosperity of the university campus, but also to monitor the order and cleanliness of the hostel, and also organize events (in the field of sports, debates on various topics, entertaining evenings), competitions in order to interest students and make life in the dormitory is more vibrant and rich.
The Supreme Student Council organizes meetings with famous scientists, public figures and Kazakh pop stars, holds conferences, theme evenings, round tables in order to interest students in an active life. Thus, the Supreme Student Council occupies a special place in the development of youth.
Goals:
- comprehensive development of self-government of students and youth at the University;
- increasing the civic role and responsibility of students living in the dormitory;
- harmonious development of the patriotic spirit of student youth;
- creating conditions for the development of individual characteristics and intellectual potential of students for the benefit of the whole society.
Functions of the organization:
- drawing up a plan for the Supreme Student Council, as well as monitoring and ensuring the implementation of the annual work plan of the dormitories;
- monitoring the certification work of students living in dormitories;
- controlling decisions regarding a student’s placement in a dormitory;
- ensuring compliance with social and other rights of students living in the dormitory;
- involving students living in the hostel in cultural and other events of the university and hostel;
