Our centre is opened online by President of RoK N.А. Nazarbayev on December 8, 2014 while visiting KazNU named after al-Farabi.

Because our medical centre is created on the basis of strategic Partnership between KazNU named after Al-Farabi and Yonsei university (Seoul, South Korea), laid down in 2011 by signing a memorandum between our university and Gangnam Severance clinic which is in residence at Yonsei. Our medical centre is oriented toward to quality standards, management and technology services, adopted in South Korea.

Guaranteed volume of free medical care (GVFMC) – it is a medical services, which are provided to citizens of Republic of Kazakhstan and to repatriated Kazakhs using the funds of republican and local budget.

GVFMC for citizens, performed by the local budget, includes: 1.Primary medico-sanitary aid (PMSA); consultative and diagnostic aid (CDA), carried out by the specialized out-patient- polyclinic organizations, in the direction of specialists of primary health care; dental care for children up to 18 years, except orthodontal care, for pregnant women and patients with twinge of toothache; physiotherapeutic care for children up to 18 years; 2.Providing first and urgent aid; 3.In-patient care, as well as reinforcement for adults and children at a local level, including: А.Providing with emergency care; Б.Providing scheduled care for all types of diseases by the appointments of specialists of primary medico-sanitary aid, as well as: oncological, psychoneurological, bacterial, ophthalmic, surgical, neurosurgery, orthotic, hydronephrosis, therapeutic, accidental, dermatologic-venereologic, pregnant woman and patients with gynecological disorders, alcohol and drug addicted patients, patients with tuberculosis, patients with diabetes, with bronchopulmonary deseases; 4. Providing medical care for diseases that occur in emergency situations; 5. Providing medical care for HIV-infected patients.

Our medical center is equipped with the most modern and high-tech medical equipment. For example, The laboratory is equipped with Siemens (Europe) automatic analyzers for the determination of blood and urine, for bio- and immuno-chemical blood test, digital multifunctional Samsung X-ray machine and hightechnology ENT-workstation with Huvitz (South Korea) endoscopic kit, 15-channel GE (America) electrocardiograph, BTL (Great Britain) spirograph etc.

Our medical centre is fully equipped by highly qualified specialists on ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, tocology and gynecology, laboratory and functional diagnosis, X-ray diagnosis, therapy etc. 5 doctors, 5 medium medical workers и 2 IT-specialists were trained in the Gangnam Severance clinic.

The technology of telemedicine in Kazakhstan is used more than 5 years. But this is an internal communications. With our partner Gangnam Severance clinic we monthly carrying out communication sessions for negotiation of current questions, also for consultation of patients with most difficult diagnoses or in case of difficulties in establishing diagnoses.

The first advantage is that we provide with pharmaceutical products marked up of 5-10 % lower, than in city drug stores. Second one is that – You do not waste your time and money for visiting other drug stores in a city. Third is that – You can order necessary product and we deliver it within the frame of university campus.
